The ASA (Advertising Standard Authority) of the UK has banned 2 advertisements that were published by the internet gambling operator, 888. The reason behind the ban was that the adverts misled the players over the alleged Free Play promotion. The adverts that were banned that belonged to 888Casino included a poster that was located at the London underground platforms.
The poster stated that players can enjoy £88 free no deposits, on Roulette Live Casino, slots and blackjack, there was text at the bottom that says 18+ Terms and conditions apply. As for the website, it stated that players can get £88 + up to 100 pounds on their first deposit. The complaints included that the winnings had to be wagered thirty times and players can only withdraw a maximum of £20.
