The govt. of New South Wales (NSW), has announced that the fixed license for TABCORP’s gambling monopoly has been extended. This extension will last for another twenty years, ending on June of 2033. This announcement was made on the 10th of September, this deal was agreed on in June but it was not finalized until this week. The deal between the NSW government and TABCORP will cost TABCORP 75 million AUD in order to maintain its monopoly in NSW.
