As a part of the strategy of the Australian government to boost tourism in the country, three new casinos will earn gambling licenses in the city of Brisbane. According to an announcement by the Australian government, eight different soon to be named casinos have already applied to grab one of the three licenses. This is because according to the laws of Queensland and Australia, casinos are legal but they have to acquire a license in order to operate under the law.
Since Australia is quickly becoming a very popular travelling destination from the two sides of the pacific, especially from Asia, the government is intending to take advantage of that by increasing the number of casinos to attract more tourists.
